OUR STORY
Houston Playback Theatre is the oldest Playback Theatre company in the southwest United States and is proud to have been serving and entertaining the Houston community since 1996. Co-founder Esteban Gago along with members Leslie Gauna and Ramiro Salas have been active members of HPT since its inception.
HPT is a part of the International Playback Theatre Network and Playback Theatre North America. HPT's members have received training in Playback Theatre performance and theory by co-founder, Jo Salas and other leaders of the international Playback Theatre community.

We believe in the power of stories and the arts to heal and connect. We believe everyone's stories matter and value performing for a variety of audiences.
