OUR PLAYERS

Esteban Gago, M.A., CCC-SLP, Co-Founder member of Houston Playback since its creation in 1996.  He attended workshops led by Jonathan Fox and Jo Salas inventors of the Playback Theatre form. Esteban has enjoyed portraying audience member’s stories in more than one hundred performances all over Houston. Esteban is also a Co-Founder member of Gente de Teatro, a theatre group that has been producing plays in Spanish for more than twenty years. His presentations include venues such as Rice University, Talento Bilingüe de Houston, Miller Outdoor Theater, and Theater Lab.  Esteban Gago M.A., CCC-SLP is a Speech Language Pathologist with fifteen years’ experience. Both in Playback and in his practice as an SLP he listens to what children and people in general have to say and strives to help them communicate it better.
